Urban Narratives are a series of photographic essays in relation to specific spatial themes: places I have been to or lived in, particular buildings I have engaged with more closely, and the creation of a specific atmosphere or narrative through a selection of photographs. The series have been made into small photographic booklets, each composed of a carefully considered layout and sequence of images, focusing on the following themes: Skopje cityscapes and landscapes; Fragments of Prague’s architectural heritage; The Museum of Contemporary Art, Skopje and the Brutalist student dormitory ‘Goce Delcev’ in Skopje (both built in the late 1960’s).
The images show: Four A5 size booklets with different photographic narratives: Skopje Cityscapes; Prague Fragments; The Skopje Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Brutalist student dormitory ‘Goce Delcev’, Skopje.
